When you volunteer with Ignite Tech Youth, you help students explore new things, build each other up and make unforgettable memories through fun, learning, laughter and connection.
Summer camp volunteers assist to make the students' experience AMAZING and our program a success! They’ll help with tasks such as getting snacks ready, prepping materials for lessons, assisting with activities, assisting with clean up, and chatting with students during snack time.
You can be a role model and mentor just by being yourself!
Volunteer Onboarding Process
We are committed to protecting students and fostering a safe environment.
Once an applicant submits the volunteer interest form, the steps to becoming an approved volunteer follow:
- The Volunteer Interest Form goes under review.
- The applicant will receive an email from our Volunteer Coordinator with instructions for us to secure background and other safety checks. The email address to look for is info@ignitetechyouth.com. All future communications will come from this email.
- A background check will be completed.
- Pending the applicant's background results, a final email will be sent with instructions on completing the required volunteer training.
Please submit your interest form before June 17th to make sure everything is processed before camp begins. We are not able to expedite any applications.
